I think the Cylons may have screwed themselves by putting what's her face in cold storage.

That was exactly my question; I can't see how they benefit; perhaps they do not believe that she has the answer.

Another question -- that temple had been created by the ancestors twelve tribes - correct? Why would they reveal anything to a toaster? Or would they have revealed info to anyone? That part is still very cloudy to me.

Good question. Why would it reveal the final five unless the ancestors knew there'd be Cylons and they'd have human form and they'd be looking for Earth too?

Speaking of Earth (and yes, I know this is a bit rhetorical), but why are the Cylons even interested in it? The New Caprica experience taught them that co-existence with Humans doesn't work so well, and they can't reproduce on their own, so do they plan to enslave whoever is living on Earth and creating Farms all over the place?

Why not just find a nice planet, settle down and get on with whatever they want to do with their lives?

We've seen already how a human priest revealed prophecy to that particular cylon. As stated then, its likely that the Lords of Kobol and the one god of the Cylons know each other or are perhaps one and the same. What we do know is that prophecy is apparently real in this universe, and both sides are benefiting from it.

Incidentally, there are twelve tribes of humans, and twelve cylon human types. The cylons don't know who the 5 other types are, and the temple where the Eye of Jupiter was supposedly located is incidentally called the Temple of the Five.

I wonder if the storyline is moving toward a point where we'll learn that the lost human tribe actually had a hand in creating the current model cylons. It would help explain why a relic of their past might harm cylons too.

The metaphysics of BSG and in particular, the cylons, is very interesting - and of course, incredibly confusing; since the humans created the cyclons are artificial life forms.

"The Lords of Kobols" is the word I was searching for, but came up blank on, when I wrote my original post. ;)

Don't know that one... I figure it was just a Face of God, encounter with Cthullhu type of thing... where the experience is just so overwhelming mortal flesh just can't endure it.

So then the temple was useless to anyone...sure, you see the 5 undisclosed Cylon models, but then you die before you can tell anyone. Pretty useless device.

Now, without Baltar, will the Cylons understand the significance the nova and the one that occured 4000 years previous as a possible sign-post, and what does it mean that Kara drew the symbol on the wall of the temple?

Watching tonights episode... Right from the beginning... Is he cylon? Is he human?

I swear the writers really love messing with us. :D

Baltar had a rough episode (Karma... IMHO) was wondering about Caprica Six until end of episode...

He deserved it.

I still wish I had a more clear sense of how the No 6 thing works with her in his head, or not... (I know, that episode awhile back explained some, but... ) ;)

I thought that the marital problems of Lee and Starbuck was overkilled. It made it even worse that they kept going back and forth with it and in between the Baltar torture.

I do not know why the remaining cylons are "afraid" of knowing the remaining five cylons. Diana was put out of comission and she knew who they were. You would think that the cylons would benefit from knowing who they are... I can't get their way of thinking.
