Buy 1 Get 1 PPV

I got an email today offering a buy 1 get 1 on DirecTV Cinema (PPV).

It said order a movie (web or remote) and they will send a certificate for a free movie, which then would have to be mailed in with a payment or seperate for the bill credit to be applied (annoying).

I'm not sure if this is available to all customers or just those getting the email, but I thought I would share the info. Obviously, YMMV.

They used to send one of those certificates with every bill, many moons ago.

Sadly, with the current price structure even a 2:1 isnt that great a deal compared to $1 at the redbox.

Yes the credit for the 1 free ppv is good up to 5.99

What about the people who don't receive a paper bill?

There would be an address on the coupon to mail it to with a printout of the bill showing the PPV.

It seems to be company wide I could not find any customer restrictions for the offer. People should of got an email or a certificate in there bill.
