Buying HDTV + Antenna, Anything Else?

Will you be satisfied with a screen that small? It's about 10 inches high by 17 wide.

Will the DB2 (UHF only) receive all the digital stations in your area?

Is it an adequate size antenna for where you live? (look at AntennaWeb).

I agree with the question above; you are somewhat wasting your money on anything less than 32" and Polaroid is well worth staying away from as well.

Not knowing your DMA or your exact zip code, I would also bet you should pass on that OTA you mention and spring for the CM4228.

That antenna does seem to be a bit pricey. If you check around, there are much more powerfull models that can be had for the same price. Also. depending on your location, you may need a pre-amplifier and a rotor. Also, how are you going to mount it? Will you need a mast, a tripod mount, a tower? You will need cable to attach it to your TV.

I believe it's posted here somewhere about the Polaroid. IIRC, it simply can't be repaired. During warranty, you're given a replacement. After warranty, you're SOL. No fixing it at any price.
