c-band fta

i have c-band satellite with a 4dtv receiver and i have a viewsat platinum slaved to the 4dtv. my question is audio on the tube channel on amc3. i know the audio is in ac3 format i can receive other ac3 channels on the other sats but not the tube. i put in the audio and video pids but still i can not get audio to pass on this channel. any help woul be greatly apreciated. i am new to fta.

I assume you are outputting this to an audio receiver capable of decodoing dolby digital (AC-3)?

yes i am. i can get ac3 audio on other c-band sats but the tube is kicking my butt. i went to lyngsat and audio pid is 257 E. still no audio from the tube

huh. I can't see over to AMC3 with my C-Band setup so I can't help ya there. Hopefully someone can chime in

I just checked and the AC-3 PID is 36. That should make it work for you.
