Can you connect an FTA dish to a C-Band receiver and get KU thru the C-Band receiver? I know the motor wouldn't work but would you get signals thru the C-Band receiver??? Just curious.

Most Analog C-Band receivers do both C and Ku band!

All DVB receivers do both C and Ku band!

You require the correct LNBF for each band!

sure you can (with a twist)

most C/KU analog boxes can not change polarity of a LNBF (the LNB's most of us use). So they are defaulted to H polarity if hooked up directly. IN those cases, you need to slave it from your digital box.

If you use an old LNB with the 3 wires for polarity (older C Band dishes use these), then you could :)
