*C DSR505 + cable tv input

I'm trying to figure out how to connect my cable TV to the receiver. I thought I could connect the coax to the 505's Antenna jack and output it to the TV so I could use the DSR505's Source button to switch back and forth to/from Cable and Satellite. When I press the Source on the remote, all I get on the display is "Front Panel". (the only thing on the front panel is the HD button) I've read the manual and it appears to be hastily done. (I used to translate documentation so I like reading manuals.) It does not completely address all of the 505's features, IMHO.
It's not a huge issue because I have my cable fed through the coax on the TV and the satellite is on Video1 (RCA). I'm more curious than anything. I don't have this issue with my DSR315.

The 505s are leftover Voom 550s with essentially DSR500 code.

Hopefully this will be addressed, along with the "Not Subscribed" popup when the unified 500 series code is released.

I have a 500 and a 505. The 500 works correctly - selecting the front inputs not found on the 505 and the RF input.
