calibration question

So I'm well aware of how proper calibration can improve the quality of the viewing experience, but I have a question.

All of the Do it yourself stuff, like DVE, are on DVD, which is great for analog connections.

What do we do for DVI or HDMI connections short of getting a DVI/HDMI DVD player?

Are you DirecTV with that HDTivo? I think HDNet broadcasts a calibration program weekly, as does inHD. Might that help?

I've heard that HDNet has a calibration screen or two, but I've heard they are off some how... something about color balence or something like that.

And I never been able to catch the dang show... but then again I haven't looked all that hard.
