Why you want the worst receiver Dish ever made? I'm not even sure Dish will activate one anymore.

It's a good receiver and my friend has one activated currently.

Do they even support its most important part, the Sling side of it? I had like 4 in 1 1/2 years, loved the Sling part of it.

They support all ViPs.

They support all ViPs.

They might support all VIPs, but they discontinued the Sling player years ago. No other reason for a VIP922 if it isnt for the Sling player!

They havent made them for what 15 years ago? Thats a long time.

These things were junk when new. What's with all the posts of people wanting outdated equipment that's EOL?

ViPs are the best, and deal with it.

I loved 922's. I admit it. I thought they looked awesome for the time and the integration of future Hopper aspects on a VIP was pretty cool
