So like if it's a busted 922 you can swap it out to DiSH for a reman? Maybe you'd have to activate it on your system and then say it broke afterward.

He doesn't want to activate it, he wants to use it to view the channels an unsubscribed receiver will still show. There's like 3 new user accounts that have shown up in the last few months with the same request.

biggest thing is it's not stolen no money owed on it and not leased. id'e ask the seller for the numbers off the receiver and see how that goes. if the box is clean then they can order a smart card.. and he needs to run the numbers with dish to see if they will sell him a smart card
