Can I diplex a 211?

I'm getting my upgrade to a 622 and a 211 this weekend and had a quick question. I'm getting the 211 installed in the basement with a TV next to it. Can I have the installer use a diplexer to backfeed the RF (coax) signal to another TV in the basement? I've got a single coax line feeding both TVs in the basement and they both run back to a central wiring closet. I was hoping that I could use a diplexer at the 211 (connected to SAT IN and COAX OUT) and then another diplexer in the wiring closet to connect to the line coming from the satellite and to the 2 coax lines going to the 2 TVs. Is this an accurate assumption? thanks.

Yes, that should work. Actually that's a pretty good idea. :)

The only drawback is that the 211 doesn't have a UHF remote or capability. So you'll need an IR/UHF pyramid if you wish to change channels from your remote location

Cool. So it should work as expected, and I would just need to tune the 2nd TV to either channel 3 or 4 depending on the switch on the back of the receiver, correct? And, should any IR Remote extender work, such as a LeapFrog? Thanks.

yes, or you can get a dish branded ir/uhf remote thingy that will come with a uhf remote, and a ir blaster at the reciever. That way you dont have to carry your remote into the other room, or worry about pointing it at the leapfrog unit to make it work.

here is one from one of our sponsers

the dish option sounds like a good idea...but I've got a quick ? that doesn't seemed to be addressed on the link you provided. Does the small box with the antenna on the back need to be facing the front of the receiver or can it sit next to or beside the dish receiver?
