NASA HD is available in Canada on C-Band using a FTA receiver. You will need a big dish to get it... Big meaning 6 feet or bigger. I get Nasa HD on a 7.5 ft dish just about 170 kilometers west of you.

The feed the OP mentions is the LIMO feed. The main mux is at 4000 (H) 28111, and contains SD channels and an HD channel.

You should have no problems receiving it on a 6 foot dish with a C-Band LNB.

I used to use a 6ft for NASA, worked fine until they put up the HD service. To get that in Michigan I had to up size to 8ft. The HD service is great and worth the trouble to get it.

thank you Davage
Where do I get the the 7.5ft dish from here in Canada? It is about 2 meter dish.
Any source whithin Canana cause I don't want to pay for the custom fee and other charges that UPS and FedeX charge.

I got my 7.5ft dish for free.. A friend of my wife bought a house in the Brampton area with the dish in the back yard. She had looked into what it would cost her to get rid of it.. The recyclers quoted her a hundred dollars I think. I offered to take it away for free.

If you take a drive out into any rural area, you will see lots of big dishes in yards. It could be worth your time to stop by and ask if they still use the dish.

There are still some satellite dealers in business here in Canada. You can check in your area. I know of a dealer who is still in business north of London Ontario, but that is quite a distance from where you live.

Dr Sat in Oakville I think is probably the closest one that carries big dish stuff. rest of dealers in mississauga/brampton area do not have c band dishes. transat used to be in toronto but they are out of business. a 6 footer is fine , ask around you might get lucky with a free one. check kijiji.ca sometimes they pop up for free or less than 100 cad including extra c band stuff like receivers or actuators.

if you mean my job.?.?... I'm a slot machine repair man, I work @ the bars and casinos in the area...

when I'm not workin; I play foosball, watch football, and play with my satellite dishes...
Figured you were a hunting or fishing guide or something. Hunting and fishing for new channels is great fun, thanks for sharing. (Looks a bit chilly this morning up your way.)

I never worked on slots, but better than 10 years on flipper, foosball, pool tables, jukes, video games and vending machines. After all that, FTA satellite is easy! Oh, the stories we won't tell!
