Apoligies for repeating a well-known or long-discussed topic.

Can I access one DirecTV account at home and a small cabin 80 miles away?

Are there firewalls that recognize the slight change in coordinates?

Acquiring a signal at both locations is obviously no problem.

Can I pay a fee to avoid having separate, full accounts?

it is consider violation of terms of use. However, they can not tell to the best of my knowledge. Locals may be effective because they are spot beam.

just take the receiver with you to the cabin and bring it back when you're done

We've done this with Dish for almost 10 years now :)
