Can I watch HD channels on SD TV?

My daughter has an SD tv in her room and wants to watch some of the Voom channels. Is it possible for her to watch the SD version of those HD channels?

Yes, if you use the TV2 out from one of the HD receivers it will downrez them.

AND they will look excellent. Downrezzed HD looks great on my SONY WEGA 27" SD.

Its doesn't even have to be the TV2 output, most of the HD receivers have a S-Video and a composite video outputs that have HD converted to SD on them.
