three questions about a bud dish receiving fta channels. (1) does a small dish lnbf work well on a large dish and any suggestions on how to do this if it does. (2) does anyone have information on a geosatpro gsl1 c/ku lnbf. (3) i have only one coax to the house from my dish- can you combine the c and ku signal and split at my receiver without to much signal loss and if so any type splitter recommended. thank you for any help you can give me.

That is some amazing shots there Pete.

Did you have to mod the feed horn and cut those 2 round areas out to
alllow the addition of the 2 lnb's?

I want to do the same thing, I am trying to convert my BUD to DVB Dish
for better recption. I was also told the following:

Insert a teflon block at a 45 degree angle inside the Scaler feed throat. That will actually convert the LNB to receive circular polarization, without having to try and aim an auxillary LNB. It actually works pretty well without disrupting C and Ku band linear birds too much.

Does this work and how do you do that?

I never took the above shots and its not my system (Wish it was).

The new C/Ku LNBF (See above) comes with a dielectric plate for circular signals, seemingly it works but I have not got round to try that yet!
