Im thinking of getting a second TIVO receiver for my bedroom but only have one line to that room. I have a new oval dish with the multi switch built in. Is there any way i can split the signal in my bedroom so I can use the dual tuner? My friend thinks I cant, but hey, you never know..

You could, but it would be costly. You would need 2 lines from the dish hooked to a stacker, then a de-stacker at the receiver end with 2 short runs of coax cable to your DirecTivo.

Stacker/Destacker setups cost $300+.
Another line of coax, even run ultra-professionally, should only run you $80 tops.
