Have 2 four-box installations, no one at office. Only have one hybrid solo Hub. Would a tap act in the same way, or would it need a hub before it to work? Both installations are hopper 3.
Can you bypass a Hybrid Solo Hub?

Welp, a Hybrid tap worked for the first installation. Found another hybrid solo Hub so I should be good to go.
I accidentally used a Tap instead of a Hub on a 2 room Hopper 3/Joey 3 install. I didn't even catch my mistake till the next day but it's working fine still. I was just there recently and just left it as is since the hub was in the crawl-space attic.
