After watching the news with the reporters riding in boats along the Gulf and showing what oil looks like on a gloved hand I got to wondering about a few things.
They also report that most cancelled vacations there.
On the other hand, yea, I know we still have four fingers and a thumb.
But if I take my 19' cuddie cabin I/O down there,
Can I expect to get more speed out of the boat with slicker water?
If not more speed will I get better fuel economy?
If pulling a skier or two will they have less drag on the boat so I could pull more skiers?
And can I not have to put gear oil in the lower unit, just leave both plugs out and so the oil and water will keep the gears lubed and cool?
