I just bought a Coolsat 8100 HD micro PVR and am not able to add a satellite into the 125.0W slot, factory file lists c-band but no Ku and this machine will not allow both C and Ku to scan without changing the LNBF information and saving then re-scanning to get Ku band a real pain but it does HD very well and does AC-3 audio. PVR works OK, using the factory 2025A software.. If I rename a not used satellite the change the satellite location with the USALS location the location information is not changed but stays as the original list places it, even using the user 1to 4 locations will not add the arc loacation in degrees, like 105.0E cannot be renamed and the location changed to 125.0W. What software can I use to repair the satellite list to something I can use and reload my satellite list into the machine. They did make the editing of the transponder information work very well just not the satellite information. (ICE) feel free to chime in here you still use the coolsat 8000HD don't you.

If you want to change the sat info, you have to go back to earlier versions of the firmware that have the 30 satelllite limit. The early firmware was a little more flexible that way. The later firmware uses the orbital positions as the index, and those orbital positions can't be changed.
Using the later factory software, the user defined ones are only useable as Diseqc 1.2 sats . There are big problems with the early firmware , too, especially if you change your sat list. The channels will then be all screwed up and you'll have to start over with the new sat list.
Have you tried any of the later "hacker" firmware versions. It's possible there are different sats in the list for them. My problem with 125W was solved by simply using the C-band entry for Ku. My miniBUD doesn't pick up anything useful from G-14 anyway.
