can't get 2 receivers DVR/HD to work together

I connected my RCA receiver and my HD H10 receiver with a brand new
multiswitch. HD channels would not come up. Also had intermittent signal
problems. When I connect each receiver separately they work fine. Is there
a way to connect both at same time? I have a 2x4 multiswitch and I
changed to all possible cable configs with no luck.

If you do have a 2x4 in there it will not work assuming you have a Phase III dish in your setup for your programming!

You need to run directly off the 4 outputs of the dish or if you need more than 4 lines you will need a larger switch.

If you have the phase III dish you will need a multi-switch made for the phase III dish.these switches also require power to the switch. if you only have a tivo and a high def hooked up you will need this switch as you would be running 3 lines in. or you can run the 3 lines directly to the dish and you would not need the switch.the phase III dish comes ready to hook up to for outputs from it.I have switches if you need one.
