CC OK at Joey but not at Hopper

This has been happening for at least a week: The CC works fine on the Joey's, but the CC will cease on the Hopper. This is across ALL channels and all playback of recordings. A RESET usually fixes it, but the same problem can occur in less than an hour. And I'm not going to RESET during recordings. I have a Joey and a Hopper in one of our rooms, and I can observe this behavior when I switch between the two boxes. This is REALLY a PITA. There seems to be nothing I can do to get it to work again without a RESET, but on occasion after nearly a half-hour, the CC starts to display again. Sometimes the CC is displaying fine, but then right after a skip forward or back or scan will then CC may cease to display.

Please fix this Dish.

I have the same problem and have reported it to Dish and DIRT. I hope they fix it. It's repeatable.

Try this:

CC works on one of the two tuners in use on the Hopper. One tuner is for PIP even though it's not in use. Enable CC. Check to see if it's working. If it isn't hit the swap or input key to switch to the other tuner. CC should work on it. Once you see PIP working use the number keys or recall to change channels and it should stay.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I have a severe hearing loss and need it. When I was with D* their receivers had 2 CC options which worked great.
