Hoping tonight's CE fixes the slowness to the channel changing and guide I've experienced the last week.
Also, while I don't use it often, the My Directv has been missing for the last few weeks.

HR34 has bricked twice and lost all audio once since DL and required RBR . This could be a long week .
Your recvr has NOT BRICKED .....
IF your recvr is DEAD and has no way to restart it ... thats Bricked.
This is why it's called Beta testing ... If you have reset the unit and still having trouble, I would suggest going back to the Nation Release (NR) and pick up next weeks CE if you want to.
I've had to revert to NR at least twice doing beta testing(receivers couldn't see each other with whole home DVR),but so far this week's CE is doing just fine.
My HR34 has had issues as well. After about a day of uptime after the update on Friday it would just pause the video about 2 seconds after a channel change regardless of which channel was selected. After a reboot on Saturday night it has been running fine but I'm just going to go ahead and reboot it every 2 days to make sure I don't miss any of the things I'm recording. Hopefully there is an update this Fri/Sat that takes care of it.
I think it would be more informative to keep with the CE and see if I can figure out what it's doing when it freezes up.Rolling back to the NR will teach us nothing.
