I wonder if these High Risk downloads over extended weekends are building to one big software program ...
Maybe it's allowing them to do 4K ?
Or do they already have what it takes to do 4K without any adjustments ?

This is actually a very good question... There is much debate on how 4k will be handled, but with Reverseband LNBs coming out and the HR54 being able to read bonded transponders via hardware upgrades, one could think it will be hardware based. That being said the HR54/H44 seem to run CE software, the same version numbers too. Then theres the debate about how the c61 will work with existing genies. I just put more thought process into the first look thread. Check that out.
