Changes to the Satellite Guys Default theme?

Big upheaval at her retirement facility as they change from the old cable (troglodyte) remote to a new, more capable one, that also gives them some facility LAN access. For menus etc

And they will end up using whatever they are use to on the new remote ...
I understand it's for improvement, but the older ones won't understand that.

I've been trying out the new SatelliteGuys Default theme on my MacBook Air and I'm liking the new look now that the font issues seem to be behind us. Looks good, Scott!

However, back on my iPhone 17, I notice that the Forum listing in Portrait mode has lost the Last Posted link, which means that you unfortunately go to the first post in a thread instead of the last post. Mostly useless and infuriating.

The last post time and author used to show up under the Thread Reaction in the lower-right. Now, it's not there. I have to switch to Landscape to get it back.

I use the Dark theme as it's a lot easier on my eyes, but I have a few issues now.

1) When I do a ctrl-b for bolding or ctrl-i for italics, neither the B nor the I change to a brighter blueish-white like they used to, but the text does bold or italicize. I just can't tell if it's on or off anymore until I type.

2) I went into my account details and change my screen name from long_time_DNC to long_time_Dish as I've been with Dish for 29 years and some folks make (or have made) a political association with the DNC part, so I decided to change it. When I did, I wanted to change my avatar to another animated avatar as well. I've made several over the decades, but was unable to change it to one of the 4 animated avatars I have. I am unable to even put it back to the animated avatar I've have for the past 4-5 years. I click on browse, navigate to the .gif animation I want to use and click on ok and nothing happens. So now I just have a still image.

Help would be appreciated.

Just to add...clicking the B or the I also changes the text but the B and I buttons in the toolbar doesn't change like it used to.

I will check into it.

As for the animated GIF issue, I will also look into that, but believe Xenforo does not allow uploads of ANimated GIfs anymore as bad stuff can be hidden in an animated gif. If you had one it would let you use it as it was already on the server and doesn't know. But if you upload a new one it only shows the first frame. I could be wrong on that though so I will check on it as well.

I lost the Animation on my avatar many years ago ... (Flag use to wave) but I figured it was something to do with site changes, never brought it up ... not a big deal, now I know.

Yes, I uploaded my BSG animated gif (not knowing that Xenforo didn't allow them anymore) and all it showed was the first frame (so you're dead-on with your thought). All the first frame was is a blue sky with a few clouds (boring!), so I substituted it with my present avatar. What format do I need to convert them to in order to use them again?

Yep, tried that too, found the same thing. Keyboarding is faster than mousing for me...age, arthritis and all that...

So did mine, until I tried to change it to a BSG one that I had made many years ago. Then I couldn't even put it back to my SG1 animated gif that's been up on here for 5-6 years (T'ealc and O'Neill juggling from the episode "Window of Opportunity")...

Okay, found an annoying bug using Safari on macOS 26.6.1(I think?) and the new Default SatelliteGuys theme. The New Post field is not tall enough, so when you try to Outdent after an Indent, the Outdent is hidden below the bottom of the New Post field. I tried to scroll it up, but it isn't working as it scrolls the whole screen, not the Indent menu.

I found a way around it for now, which is to fill the New Post field with blank lines. This causes the bottom of the New Post field to increase and become tall enough for the whole Indent menu to appear.

Just an FYI on macOS Golden Gate 27.0 dark mode shows it correctly but the Satelliteguys Default theme looks like yours.

In CSS, Z-order controls how overlapping HTML elements stack on top of one another along the virtual Z-axis (pointing toward the viewer). This stacking behavior is primarily managed by the z-index property.

Any thoughts on my request to restore the "Last Entry" link to the Mobile Default Theme? Here's what's the "Classic" shows:

Even if all you had was a link that said "Last Post" that took you to the last post in that thread, it would be more useful than what I end up doing, which is rotating to the Landscape orientation on my iPhone which then shows the user with the last post along with the date and time of the post.

Or, I guess I could do like a lot of other SatGuys and go back to the Classic theme. But I'd rather use the new theme as I like a lot of the changes you made.
