Channel Guide

I have two 211k receivers. On one the guide was updated to have 7 lines per page. But the other one still has 5. In the menu 8-1-1, I do not see where to change this. Is this only done by a Dish nightly update? If so, how come only one receiver was changed?

Hi, the change with the channel guide is the result of a software update. They roll them out in stages based on the receiver CAID#. It sounds like one receiver updated already but the second one has not yet. The second receiver will be getting this update as well in the near future. I apologize for the inconvenience of not having them both update simultaneously.

With the update you no longer have the option to turn off the video while looking at the guide. There is a long thread about this already.
