why is lifetime real women leaving the lineup?

I'd like an answer as to why DirecTV is dropping Lifetime Real Women. Or why LRW is leaving. Or if the channel is on its way out, period (like CNN Sports Illustrated a few years back as well as, remember? Trio).

These have been posted here in the past but its good to have one posting with all the changes.

LRW is leaving due to the settlement between Lifetime and DirecTV.

Lifetime Real Women, ch 261, ends July 24

and Lifetime Real Women should be back (if not right now, any moment soon) as DIRECTV and Lifetime Networks have come to a carriage agreement (LRW in Total Choice Plus or Total Choice Premier packages.
