Channel's From Lancaster Pa

I had put my TV on and my local Lancaster channels are not working but my long distant new york and la are working anyone have an idea why? by the way yes I have a dish 500...

I've seen similar things on different receivers. Try a soft reset (hold power button on receiver for about seven seconds then release). They usually return after that. Don't know what causes it.

Try the reset

I reset my receiver and I get CBS but no ABC or upn but I get NBC but I hear commercials when there showing the show and CBS I hear fox

You are in the Harrisburg PA DMA..a dish 500 DMA..
First, reboot your recievr(s)..DO this by unplugging them for 60 seconds...The recievers wil aquire satellite then download a prgram guide..Your locals may return then....If not, the sissue may be with the transmision of locals to the DN uplink center..good luck

I stumbled upon this the other day. Channels 9821 and 9822 are "backups" for NBC and CBS. It says something that if you can't see the channels on 9016 or 9017 to call them about a critical equipment upgrade. Dunno if that helps or not.

Thats only if you have a Dish300 aimed at 119. They are moving some 119 locals to 110
