Comcast-Time Warner Merger: What’s in It for the FCC?A merger splitting Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) between Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) and Comcast Corp. (NASDAQ:CMCSA) could end up being the Federal Communication Commission’s best shot at enforcing net neutrality rules that were dismantled after a court ruling on Tuesday. http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/...erger-whats-in-it-for-the-fcc.html/?a=viewall

The quest to conquer Time Warner Cable
In an attempt to expand, Charter Communications has tried several times to buy out Time Warner Cable — its significantly larger competitor — only to be ungraciously turned down. Now Charter is beginning to appeal directly to its competitor's shareholders, hoping that they'll see the deal as an promising path away from TWC's shrinking income. Comcast is also supposedly circling TWC, potentially on its own and potentially as a partner of Charter's. Either way, two of the cable giants appear to be interested in seeing some consolidation.
