Children's Screening Clinic

The Wiggins Odd Fellows will be holding a Screening Clinic for children under the age of 18 on May 23rd 1:00-3:00 p.m.. Dr Bobby Burn of Wiggins Primary Care, 975 Hall St, Wiggins, MS will evaluate the children free of charge. They will be evaluated for orthopaedic problems such as: Scoliosis, spina bifida/myelodysplasia, skeletal growth abnormalities, neuromuscular disorders, hand disorders, hip disorders, limb deficiencies, leg length decrepancies, and orthopaedic problems associated with cerebral palsy. They will also be evaluated for severe scarring from burns and celft lip/palate. If you know of a child that could benefit from expert medical care, totally free of charge, please call 601-928-9200 for an appointment now. We will accept children from the southern half of Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. However, no child will be turned away. This is the first step for treatment. Should they qualify, they will be assigned to the Temple in the proper jurisdiction.

We have good news on the Screening Clinic. We now have appointments for 6 children that have orthopaedic problems, severe scarring from burns and cleft lip/palate. If we can help only one child lead a more productive life, we will feel the work has been worth it. This screening is the first step in the children receiving expert medical care, totally free of charge at the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Wiggins Odd Fellows are sponsering the screening.
