clicking noise in receiver

Sometimes I get a clicking noise in my receiver.When this happens dvr will not function properly.Sometimes I cannot record or pause.Tried rebooting etc.Sometimes get error message 04ee.Sometimes system freezes.Any suggestions?

Sounds like your HD is failing....... time for a newbie.

Sounds like you Hard Drive is failing.....

Time to call Dish and get a replacement
