Not that I love CNN Domestic anymore but I think I heard them say they are now broadcasting in HD. I wonder how long until DISH carries their HD feed?

Ok so whats the apeal of watching the news in HD? I mean afterall it is the news, thats like retiring at the age of 30 and immediately joining AARP and wearing your pants around your chest.

There IS obviously an appeal since many local stations in bigger markets have begun to broadcast their local newscasts in HD. They must feel that the expense is worth it.

News is the most lucrative part of local station programming. Relatively cheap to produce with good revenue stream.
