Comcast Lifts Stock Buyback And Dividend As Q4 Earnings Miss Analyst Expectations

The No. 1 cable operator and owner of NBCUniversal says this morning that it will increase its dividend by 15.4% to 90 cents a share annualized beginning in April, and will boost the share repurchase plan to $7.5B, including $3B in 2014.

I'm surprised they added 43,000 video subscribers because they, along with other Cable Cos., have been bleeding customers for 6-straight years. FiOS only added 92,000 video subscribers last quarter so apparently their bunding/promotions is finally paying off.
