Being out of contract with DirecTV, I'm still waiting for either DirecTV to release their wireless Genie minis nationwide and/or actual evidence that Comcast video is better (or, at least, the same as) picture quality as DirecTV.

Then again, the comments for the linked article suggest that Comcast is using fundamentally different compression technology than are the sat cos, so I'm thinking that sat will always be carrying better PQ.

Because, other than PQ, I see the Genie being a better DVR/storage device than Comcast's (even though I love Comcast HSI).
