So I recorded Star Trek III off Universal HD last night. This was the first time I watched a movie from them and while I was disappointed to see they are not commercial free, it seems like there were only four commercial breaks on two hours, which is a lot less than other channels. I am correct, or was it just my imagination?

When Dish first added UHD the movies were commercial free. Now they have to short breaks. While I'd prefer commercial free, those short breaks are tolerable.

UHD didn't have commercials until late last year. Although I don't mind the length of their commercials, I do mind when their channel is being offered as an Ultimate Channel that is not commercial-free. Plus, they need to lose that obscenely large and distracting logo they have...good Lord.

I don't recall ever seeing Dish advertise that ultimate channels would be commercial free. They did just shut off 15 channels that were commercial free however...

The logo is almost not even in the picture on cinemascope movies being shown in their OAR on UHD. At least we get OAR.
