Companies that dont pay (Contractors)

Where can I find information if any, about contracting companies that have had issues with not paying their technicians ? Please help

Here is one that will make up any excuse why not to pay so dont work for him. His name is Patrick and he is a retailer in Texas somewhere. At least he was around 7-8 years ago when he called me up wanting me to do installs for him. He paid on the first 3 but not the last 2-3 and I drove way out to do them. He is a scam. He said he was working with the Farm Bureau to find customers. These were people switching from Primestar to Dish Network.
