I used to have a 60" RS 4X3 SD set. I used to think the picture looked pretty good on it. I'm certain that SD looked better on that set than SD looks on my current HD set. Now I can hardly bear to watch SD. Watching upconverts (as long as they don't stretch the picture) would at least be bearable. It won't be that long before more HD programming is available. But I think this is just a step along the way. The more HD channels offered the greater the demand for HD sets and programing and hopefully quality.
