Compatible DVD to Direct TV

Does anyone out there know of a DVD Recorder that is compatible (will change channels) with an IR Blaster on the Hughes Model H21-200 or even the H20 receiver?

I need to buy a DVD Recorder that can change the channels. I then finalize these shows and watch them on my laptop when I fly on trips.

D* generally doesn't release the codes for operating thier units outside of thier own remotes and the lagre universal remotes, I know of NO DVD R's that would change a channel on a D* unit.

The remote book that comes with refurb receivers lists codes for the RC64's to program to all d* boxes (used in the event you need a replacement for a hughes or samsumg/phillips box) ill rip one out of my truck in the morning and post the codes tomorrow night, if someone can beat me to the listing, have at it

Wouldn't it just be better to have the H21 autotune to the channel and then set up the DVD recorder to start a recording at the same time?

Or better yet, get the HR2x and then burn to the DVD recorder later.
