Confirmed: DBSTalk.COM Sold to AVSForums

I just got off the phone with AVSForum co owner David Bott who informed me that they have aquired DBSTalk.COM from Chris Blount.

David tells me he has great plans for the site which remain it's own seperate site, much like the Tivo Community forum AVS operates. He also tells me that most of the current staff will remain.

SatelliteGuys congratulates both DBSTalk and AVSforum on the news and I have pledged to David that we will try helping them out any way we can.

LOL. Perhaps they wanted to finalize everything first so as no loose ends are left. Sometimes, loose ends can come back to bite somebody.

LOL. There's no need for attacks. I work for DBSTalk, and I have no issues with people here at SatelliteGuys. Certainly seems like some people HERE could be done without in that new combined group.

Orge (Adam) is a good guy, in fact when I was at DBSTalk I talked Chris into bringing his site on board and helped him get his service desk site setup.

His service desk has always been a cool site as well.
