connection hook up 722 hd dvr

I have a vip 211 hd & 722 dvr I have dish 1000. I'm adding the 722 dvr. The rg9 comes from the sat goes to the 44 switch out from the power out into the
power insert to the vip 211. how do I connect the 722 dvr dual sat?. I live in Texas. If you have a diagram this would help.

You need to run another RG6 cable from the switch to the 722. thats all. Then setup the 722

when I connect rg9 to sat 1 and sat 2 comming from the switch the response i get is checking switch 1 of 38 is complete no sat found on sat 1 and sat 2 do these rg9 cables need their own power insert just like the vip 211?

What do you mean rg9? Do you mean rg59? you should be using RG6 cable only from the switch to the receiver.
On the switch output 1 goes to the power inserter then the receiver. Output 2 on the switch goes to the second receiver. The 722 has a splitter that the cable hooks to then the 2 wires from the splitter goes to the 722 sat 1 and sat 2 inputs. You must use the splitter that comes with the 722 and hook it up correctly.

Thanks for the input on the splitter ordered it from the dishnetwork store installed it 05/15/09 works great sorry about the mix up on the cable I'm using rg6 cable.
