I want to move my CCTV system around to another one of my tv's in my house. I have an old 25 inch tube tv with coax and composite this is why I am asking. I want to have some good PQ so anything under $50. I have tv's coming out my ears.

I am looking for: HDMI to composite
VGA to composite

I recommend you abandon that whole idea of tube TVs. This is the 21st Century The market is saturated with flat panel HD sets and everyone wants 4k now. I'm sure with a little effort you will find someone trying to sell a flat panel real cheap to support their habit. Cheaper than some phony video adapter you won't like.

I'm pretty sure you could get a modern flat under 30inch tv for $50 or less and not need a connection converter/adaptor

Dan, I saw a 50 INCH tv set at Walmart yesterday for $219. You can get them much cheaper than that, for smaller sizes. Otherwise, if you are set on a tube tv, drive around your neighborhood and pick them off the curbs where people throw them.

Check at Savers... I got a cheap 19" flat-panel TV with HDMI for just over $10. No remote and no way of verifying that it works while in the store and no returns, so a bit of a gamble, but worth a shot...

Well I didn't want to add a another add a tv to my collection I see what you guys are saying though.

Converting an HD multi-window display to composite just isn't going to work. The results from a 720p TV may be noticeably diminished as far as that goes.

Of course if your using an antique analog CCTV system, using a color TV may break your brain with blurriness and fringing.

I'm still using a 27" tube tv, only reason it's too heavy to carry out. Took two of us to carry it down the stairs when new. Not sure how to get it back up... will have to cross that bridge when it dies.
I have an HDMI to VGA adapter, but I don't think I have an HDMI to composite or VGA to composite anywhere. Might be a difficult thing to track down...

Yeah, demand for that sort of thing must be way low.

I hired kids to help carry to the recycling center 27” and 36” CRT TVs. I don’t try to lift such things anymore. And I certainly don’t try to get my wife to help lift such things anymore either.

They threw in an old fridge in my pickup so we all came out ahead.

I’m still impressed at how much space we gained by dumping those things.

One of the best tv sets I ever owned, was a dual-tuner 32" Toshiba tube tv. I loved that set! I finally replaced it with a 37" Olevia lcd HD tv set, which was nice, but a BEAST compared to today's LCD/LED sets. I now have an LG 42" smart tv, with plans to replace it once the tv's with ATSC 3.0 tuners come out.

I do like my old tube tv its like old Clydesdale horse slow heavy but easy to use and works for a long time. I just like to reuse things if I can make it happen.

This is widely known as "stepping over dollars to pick up dimes" or "penny-wise and pound foolish".

A 43" LCD HDTV costs about $20/year to operate. A smaller CRT may be some large fraction of that per month
