Pretty "Meh", IMO. Doubt it will last long. Not familiar with comic, but bound to be a rehash "Supernatural". No timer here.
I agree with your critique of the first episode. I will give it one more attempt to see if it interests me,but so far it does seem like ground covered on Supernatural.

Well, watched the second. Can't believe how bad it was, especially considering it was written by Rockne S. O'Bannon. A new low for him.

Well this week was better to me than last weeks. But it is still a whole lot like Supernatural . He solves supernatural mysteries and banishes the demons or bad guys each week. I'll keep watching for now.

Most likely they will drop it. The show is a little too much like Supernatural, but lacks the buddy /bro stars of that show. That and the terrible Cockney English accent that Constantine has .

Report: Constantine is Cancelled by NBC
Fans of the NBC show Constantine have been patiently waiting for news about a possible second season, and there are reports coming in that Constantine has been cancelled. According to Buzzfeed, Constantine is on the list of NBC shows getting dumped by the network. Said cancellation was fact checked with the network as reported by Buzzfeed's Kate Aurthur.NBC has yet to confirm or deny reports. The show didn't bring in the numbers that the network wanted and while it found a hoard of devoted followers, it wasn't enough for NBC to order a full season of the show. After the season finale, the writers of Constantine stated it wasn't over yet and even up until April 6, when showrunner Daniel Cerone sent this out.Rumors that the show was going to go to Syfy, under a different name, have been debunked, and if this cancellation is true, there's still a chance Constantine could live on at another network. The writers and showrunners have been quiet about all of this since the beginning of April, on Twitter, so there's obviously something going on.We'll keep you updated as more news breaks about the show's future.

Why Constantine Failed, According To The Producer http://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/thr...zed-plus-stalkers-return.349086/#post-3685638
Despite DC's success on just about every network it put a show on, there was one venture that got axed fairly early on in its run. NBC's Constantine was cancelled after only thirteen episodes, and although there were several reasons why Constantine was not a success – not the least of which was the poorly-rated Friday night death slot on which it aired – Constantine executive producer David Goyer has a broader opinion. David Goyer had this to say in an interview with Variety about the cancellation of Constantine:

Constantine Season 2: New Petition to Bring Back Show http://www.denofgeek.us/tv/constantine/246794/constantine-season-2-new-petition-to-bring-back-show
Hope for Constantine season 2 springs eternal. Here are the latest updates...It's been an interesting couple of week for Constantine fans. The return of Matt Ryan as John Constantine on the Arrow season 4 episode "Haunted" (which also felt very much like a return to the character's earliest comic book days) definitely renewed interest in the character. Ratings for the episode were the highest since the Arrow season 4 premiere, so that's encouraging. What's more, Former Constantine showrunner Daniel Cerone even briefly put the script for what would have been Constantine episode 14 online for fans to read. And now, there's the old standby: a Change.org petition. As of this writing, it has 20,000 signatures. Add your name if you'd like.Daniel Cerone has yet to comment on the petition. He helped organize the fans when the show began to struggle, but he has also kept a pretty realistic world view about the whole thing. We'll let you know if anything develops.

Constantine is returning as series regular to Legends of Tomorrow.

Matt Ryan To Join 'DC's Legends Of Tomorrow' As Series Regular For Season 4

John Constantine is permanently joining the team aboard the Waverider. Matt Ryan, who plays the antihero demon hunter, will join the CW's superhero series DC's Legends Of Tomorrow as a series regular in the upcoming Season 4.
Ryan's promotion from a recurring to a series regular is contingent on a Season 4 renewal for Legends. The CW is yet to make renewals for next season but Legends — as well as the rest of the network's DC series — is fully expected to come back
