The converter box rating list shows the Magnavox/Philco box dose not have an aspect ratio button or even auto aspect ratio. If anyone has watched digital broadcast television through a 4:3 TV screen changing to different formatted channels would know this feature would be useful. Another reason to dislike the Magnavox/Philco box?. he he

One thing to note is that the two boxes using Silicon tuners (Sansonic and Lasonic) are at the top of the list as far as picture quality goes. The only negative is that the guide sucks on both. Hopefully the Echostar box will be better in that aspect.

Consumers Report is dated. I have a Zenith DTT901 an updated version of the DTT900. The 901 has analog pass through, but the best feature is TV volume and Power on/off is on the remote although its $60.
