Coolsat 6000 and C band

I have the opportunity of getting a BUD.
I allready have a Coolsat 6000.
Will this receiver cope with C band signals ?

Sure. I have the CoolSat 6100 Private and I get the C and Ku signals with my BUD; just watched yesterday the SuperBowl on Galaxy 16 C Band. The only problem that I have is with my Diseqc Switch; not working at all, even after I replaced two times the original one. Go figure!

I've got a Coolsat 5000 here and it works fine with a BUD. The only thing is it can't move the dish by itself. If you get a receiver with the dish, you could use it to do the moving and tune the channels with the Coolsat. Another option would be to get a Gbox positioner, and a voltage controlled lnbf, then you can control polarity as well.

I use a Coolsat 5000 with 2 fixed C-Band dishes and they work just fine

See my sig Tony ; I use Norsat 8515 for the C Band , and 4506A for Ku.
