Is there a way using the remote backup to copy a channel list from one Hopper to another and separately to a Joey? Is there any other way to copy the channel lists?

Unfortunately at this point there is not a way to do that in the system. We will be happy to forward the feedback to our developers though, that is a great idea.

So taking the remote from the Hopper with the correct list, backing up to it, pairing it to the destination Hopper/Joey and restoring from the remote wouldn't work?

It will erase your previous timers on hopper #2. You will replicate timers between the two hoppers. Beneficial for swapping a receiver out, not so much when you are trying to move all timers to one hopper
