copy recordings from a 522 to a 522

I have a dishdvr 522 that has failed. I was able to recover all my recorded files on my linux computer. I can have copied the files over to my working 522 however, they dont show up in my recorded programs list. Any ideas what I should do next?

i believe there's some kind of index files also.

is it the drive that failed? if not and the drive is ok you could just swap them.

yeah the drive failed. luckily I have a pretty good background in data recovery. I am sure there is an index file or something somewhere, but not exactly sure where to find it.

I would suggest, if you'll find that index file and move it to other folder, the DVR OS could recreate it and take in account all your old recordings.
