I only have one vcr, and I wanted to copy a tape. Is there a way I can connect my vcr so my 510 will record the tape on its hard drive? Then I was hoping I could record to another tape.

Is this possible, or will I have to borrow another vcr?

Nope....cant be done. The 510 can only record satellite programming.

Not true.

You can send the tape to Dish and see if they will play it. If so then you can record it with your 510. Also you can buy some Infomercial time from one of your locals and then record that.

:D :D :D :D

Would look like hell anyway. Tapes don't copy well without a video enhancer.

No friends to put it on DVD or who could loan you a VCR for a couple of hours?

Already got it taped, borrowed a friend's vcr. I was just trying to find out if I could just use the 510 and the vcr I already had.

Thanks for your input!
