Did you notice how A&E is simply upconverted from SD? That really bugs me. And to make matters worse, they feel they need to stretch the picture to make it look 16:9, when obviously it is just a regular show filmed in 4:3
TBS does this too. You probably noticed that Cox vegas got TBS yesterday, and most of the syndicated programming is stretched out.
Come on... there is nothing "wrong" with a 4:3 picture. Be honest to us and just admit that the 15 year old rerun of that sitcom wasnt filmed HD with widescreen.
No one is going to really complain about that.
