If you set up an out of area account with your US credit card, doesn't that raise a red flag?
If not, or if there is a work-around, that sounds like the best way to pay your monthly bill.
Or have I missed something, here?

no it doesnt raise a red flag. I've done it for 2 years (paid for my SC with a US cc)

Lots of snowbirds use a US CC to pay for things, so why couldnt they pay for canadian satellite :)

They don't know it's an "out-of-area" account, and I don't think they even know it's a US CC (unless they looked into it). They charge it, it goes through, they get paid. It automatically converts at the current exchange rate.

Just don't forget about the PST and GST when looking at your credit card statement. And I wouldn't go through any broker that doesn't pay your bill that way (like Freeway). Too much room for late payments=disconnection and account splitting.

Most hardware vendors won't ship to an address other than the one the credit card is registered to.
It helps everybody avoid rip-offs, and is a good idea.
It just seems pretty trivial for BEV to check.
Guess not. Thanks.

Oh, SC ! Those poor struggling guys want every dime they can get!
They not only have good coverage in the USA, but in Mexico!
No wonder they turn a blind eye!
Someone tell me they use their American CC with BEV, and I'll feel better. ;)
