The CRTC has handed out a ruling that requires cable companies in Canada to have a la carte available AS AN OPTION to it's subscribers by next year. The CRTC says they are forcing the cable industry to do this to save the industry from the competition that is coming since the industry is incapable of saving itself.
The question is: How long before the FCC does something similar, if ever.
