Cubavision/Pas9

I'm ready to buy from FTADirect their Universal Package 6: Coolsat 5000 Platinum, 90cm (35") Dish, STAB HH-90 Rotor, Invacom QPH-031 Quad LNBF, CD-ROM, 4x1 Diseqc Switch, and Upgrade Cable. Here is my question: Is the "Invacom QPH-031 Quad LNBF" an universal LNBF? I am in Southern California and my only way to get Cubavision is using the Pas9, and the only way is with an universal LNBF. Thank you all for your time.

The QPH-031 is not a Universal...it is a standard

Other than that flaw, very nice setup you are getting

I've heard that if you log the channel in with a Universal, you can swap to a Standard and it will still work

As I mentioned the other day I recently scanned this satellite (Pas 9) with my Traxis 3500 and Invacom QPH-031 and Cubavision popped right in!

It is also available on Hispasat 30w using a Standard LNBF!

I know quite a bit of Cubans in the L.A. area that would love to get Hispasat.

Cubavision Intenational on Pas 9 is the only channel of the five available on Hispasat that is on 24 hours and It is a good resource for news,special events,and music.
