Curious question... How many here have an OTA dongle for Dish, but it's not your primary OTA device?

My OTA devices, in order of priority...

1. TiVo Bolt
2. Dish dual tuner dongle for my Hopper 3
3. Directly to my TV

I'm curious on everybody else.

How do you guys find this much to watch on broadcast TV? OTA might make up 5% of my viewing. If I didn't get the channels with my antenna, I would go without. I'd never pay $12.99 for locals.

I have a dual dongle OTA and directly into my TV. But you're correct as I watch almost no broadcast TV. Generally a few minutes a day for any local news of interest and the weather. For me OTA makes up less than 5% of my viewing.

Not paying $12.99 doesn’t help much if you want “moved” locals, PTAT access, or simply more tuners for your locals. I also personally find a lot of good programming on both my “moved” locals, as well as my OTA locals as well.

Exactly.
Only thing I watch on local channels is the news and that is bs most of the time.
I have not watched anything on primetime network TV in many years.
Current movies are just as bad or worse. The last movie I saw in a theater was The Revenant.
Hollywood can't come up with anything worth a f**k anymore.

Considering a good portion of the country is cord cutting nowadays, I’d disagree with that. Hell I’ve thought about cord cutting too.

1. Tivo
2. Dish (No dongle needed OTA is built in)
3. TV

I still watch alot of Sat programming but there is alot I do watch OTA here too. A few Prime Time Shows, Local Early Morning news, a couple of the daytime Court shows/Court TV, some of the channels that run old movies..... We have an international channel with Greek, Canadian and other Country news and programming, etc....

I have a Channel Master OTA DVR in my MBR and another at our RV. Not that we watch much OTA.

I also have a single single on both my HWSes. Hardly ever use them.

Well, that should be single tuner on both.

And actually, at the trailer, we watch MPT OTA. No sat there and no real Internet. There is a poor cableco Internet, but neighbors discouraged me getting it. Slow, lots of outages. No worry- when I called to see how much, agent swore no service was available. I said neighbors have it and I’m looking at one of your trucks now.

About three years ago they (or somebody) ran orange conduit, sticking up everywhere. Then nothing. Maybe they’re just not accepting new custies there and computer badly set to just say no service.
